Salt Lake Public Health Center

The Salt Lake County Health Department STD Clinic and Prevention Program offers STD prevention education as well as low-cost testing and treatment using the latest technology available.

We provide a friendly, convenient, and comfortable environment to help you remain sexually healthy, and you do not need to be a resident of Salt Lake County to visit our clinic.

The STD Clinic is conveniently located downtown in the Salt Lake Public Health Center at 610 South 200 East, 2nd Floor.

Parking is available on the west side of the building, or the clinic is two blocks south of the Library station on the TRAX red line.

Make an appointment by calling 385-468-4242.

We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and accommodate walk-in patients when possible, but you can decrease your wait time and guarantee being seen by making an appointment.

Our clinical staff is the most experienced in the state, with over 50 years of combined experience in the STD field. We have Spanish speakers on-staff, and we provide translation services for other languages.

Please note that children are not allowed in STD exam rooms, and cannot be left unattended in our lobby.

All visits to the clinic, except when testing only for HIV, require a $50 office visit fee. If you are testing only for HIV, there is no office visit fee.

Due to the additional documentation required, court-ordered tests and tests required for a sexually oriented business license are subject to higher fees. Call 385-468-4242 for details.
