Hancock County Health Department

The Hancock County Health Department provides preventive healthcare services to the whole community.


Clinic hours:

  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday.


Service Fees & Insurance:

  • Small fees are charged for some services such as:
  • Administering immunizations, RPR and/or tuberculin skin tests, water sampling and septic tank inspections & permits.
  • Some services are charged on a sliding scale based on client income and family size.
  • Medicaid/Medicare are billed for participating clients with presentation of card at the time of visit.
  • No one is denied service because of inability to pay or lack of Medicaid/Medicare.
