   Clinical Services

   Eligibility
   Eligibility for most clinical services is based on income, resources, residency, and household composition. Please call our office to schedule an eligibility screening appointment.

  Clinic Hours
  Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  Closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.

   Dental Services   

   Dental extraction appointments for children and adults who qualify. Please call for an appointment; eligibility required.
   Eligibility: Eligibility for this program must be determined prior to service. Eligible clients will not be refused services due to inability to pay. Denton County Public Health is a Medicaid provider. Eligibility is limited to those below 150% of poverty.

        STI / STD Testing: Denton County Public Health (DCPH) offers confidential gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV screening in the Denton and Lewisville clinics.  Sexually transmitted disease (STD) screening is available to anyone.  There is an office visit fee of $30, and treatment, if positive, is no cost.  Test results are typically received within one to two weeks.  DCPH does not provide HIV medical care but can provide referrals if a client tests positive for HIV.

DCPH Women's Health Program provides free and low-cost services to help reduce unintended pregnancies, allow people to determine the number and spacing of their children, and improve birth outcomes and overall health.
Services:
    Well-woman exams
    Gynecological disorders and women’s health concerns
    Multiple low-cost birth control options
    Family planning
    Pre-conception counseling (planning for a healthy pregnancy)
    Abstinence counseling

Eligibility
Persons who have the following may qualify:
    CHIP - Perinatal
    Medicaid for Prenatal Care
    Healthy Texas Women (HTW)
    Family Planning Program
